This trip was a little different—and proof that even when plans go sideways, the adventure doesn’t have to turn away from fun. I headed up to Tahoe chasing snow… and found exactly none. But as any seasoned traveler (or skier) knows, when conditions change, you pivot. And that pivot led us to great food, cozy stays, long walks, and eventually—snowy salvation in Mammoth Lakes.
